BACKGROUND
The connection between Staatenlos and Graphix Island grew on a personal level: Caroline Krause is Head of Marketing at Staatenlos and, at the same time, founder of Graphix Island – she brought both teams together.
Anyone dealing with Staatenlos on international company formation and emigration rarely thinks in fixed locations – and that’s exactly how Graphix Island works too: fully remote, for clients across the German-speaking market and beyond.

WHAT YOU GET
Every package includes individual WordPress webdesign, a logo from our branding services, plus a mobile-first build and technical SEO setup as standard.
WHY GRAPHIX ISLAND
Video calls instead of on-site meetings – whether you’re working from Georgia, Panama or a boat right now.
Through the partnership and the Staatenlos community, we know first-hand what internationally-based entrepreneurs need.
Design, technology, branding and visibility all come from a single team – no back-and-forth between providers.
Whether a US LLC, a UK LLP or a company based abroad – your website is often your business’s only fixed address.
PROCESS
A no-obligation initial consultation via video call, followed by structure, content plan and goals – matched to your project.
A visual draft for approval, then technical implementation in WordPress including SEO fundamentals and a mobile-first layout.
Your website goes live, including a walkthrough for self-maintenance. Optionally followed by hosting, maintenance and ongoing SEO/GEO support.
PROJECTS
Alongside our partnership with Staatenlos, we’ve also worked with the EDEKA head office, the Bauer Media Group and the Hanseatic City of Rostock – from single landing pages to complete website relaunches.
Three articles from our blog that are especially relevant for clients living and working internationally: What Does a Website Cost?, AI Visibility – How to Get Found by ChatGPT Too, and Migrating a Website Without Downtime, if you already run an existing site.
FAQ
We work internationally – fully remotely and independent of our clients’ location. Alongside clients from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, through the Staatenlos partnership we increasingly support clients who live abroad permanently or have structured their business internationally. Time zone or place of residence play no role in how we work together.
Yes, that’s the standard case for us, not the exception: briefing, design presentation and every discussion happen via video call and digital approvals – an in-person meeting is never necessary. That fits perfectly with clients who themselves live or work location-independently.
We schedule appointments flexibly around time zones – many discussions happen asynchronously via messenger or email anyway, so a gap of several hours doesn’t slow down the collaboration. For fixed video calls, we agree together on a time window that works for both sides.
Yes. Websites can be built entirely in English, or bilingually in German/English – with properly structured content for both language versions, not just translated text blocks. For clients living or working internationally, this is often a basic requirement: your website needs to work both for German-speaking contacts and for an international audience, without either language version feeling like an afterthought translation.
Yes, via WPML with a clean language structure and correct hreflang markup – important so each language version is individually findable on Google, rather than competing with each other. This matters especially when you’re addressing clients across multiple countries or language regions: each language gets its own, individually maintained content rather than a pure word-for-word translation, and navigation and contact options adapt to the relevant language version.
Anyone who books a paid consultation with Staatenlos in advance gets a €350 discount on all packages. There are three entry points for Staatenlos clients: Digital Starter from 3,000 euros (homepage plus 5 subpages, logo, technical SEO setup), Business Essentials from 4,500 euros (up to 8 subpages, extended brand consulting, longer support), and Custom Crafted with an individual price for projects with special requirements such as member areas or booking tools. All prices are adjusted to your specific project in the free initial consultation.
Digital Starter includes an individually designed homepage plus 5 subpages, mobile-first design, SEO-optimised content, compressed WebP images with alt tags, technical SEO setup, a GDPR-compliant cookie banner, an individual logo with three design proposals, and a walkthrough of how to maintain the website yourself afterwards. Discounted premium hosting through our partner Raidboxes is available as an option.
Business Essentials offers more scope and more strategic depth: up to 8 subpages instead of 5, an additional consultation call on brand positioning, two months of support after launch instead of one, and the full commercial transfer of usage rights for all designs and copy. It suits growing businesses with higher standards for their brand and presence.
For the Staatenlos packages we typically plan for 6 to 8 weeks from the first discussion to going live – depending on how quickly feedback on drafts comes in and how quickly content like copy and images is ready. For Custom Crafted projects with special features, the timeframe can shift depending on scope.
Yes. An existing website can be migrated over to us, including a full transfer of content and clean URL redirects, so your existing Google rankings are preserved. After that, we run hosting through our partner Raidboxes or a comparable managed WordPress environment, including SSL, daily backups and ongoing updates.
Yes, this is the typical starting point for many projects in this partnership: you’ve set up an international structure through Staatenlos, such as a US LLC or a UK LLP, and now need a digital presence that looks just as professional. We don’t offer legal or tax advice ourselves, but from working with Staatenlos clients we know exactly what matters for a credible online presence for internationally structured businesses.
Caroline Krause is head of marketing at Staatenlos and, at the same time, founder of Graphix Island. Through this dual role, the two teams came together: Graphix Island already handles Staatenlos’s own social media management, among other things, and knows the brand, the community and its needs accordingly well.
The easiest way is through our contact form, with a short note that you’re coming via Staatenlos. That’s followed by a free, no-obligation initial consultation via video call, in which we discuss your project, the right package and the timeframe.
