Option 3 – DigitalOcean + CDN (approx. €160 / year)
Modern cloud infrastructure, a solid alternative with integrated CDN and scalable resources.

What is the difference between your three hosting options?
We offer three options: Raidboxes (company based in Germany), our own server via Cloudflare (company based in the USA) and DigitalOcean (company based in the USA). All options are optimised for WordPress and include updates and firewall protection. We’re happy to explain the differences in a consultation.
What does hosting cost after the first free year?
Depending on the option you choose: Raidboxes Premium approx. €199 / year, our recommended own server + Cloudflare approx. €140 / year, DigitalOcean + CDN approx. €160 / year.
What is included in the maintenance service?
The maintenance service covers: plugin updates twice a month, a cache rebuild after updates, and performance monitoring. This protects your website from security gaps and keeps load times stable.
What if I don’t want the maintenance service?
You can use the hosting without a maintenance service and run updates yourself or have them applied automatically. In case of errors or outages, support is then billed by time and effort. In most cases the maintenance service works out cheaper and safer than the DIY route.
Can you migrate my existing WordPress website?
Yes. We handle the migration of your existing website to our hosting system — cleanly, with no data loss and usually with no downtime.
Which hosting option do you recommend?
Our clear recommendation is option 2: own server + Cloudflare for approx. €140 / year. It offers the best combination of load speed (Cloudflare edge caching), security and value — and it’s the easiest to extend with additional features such as automatic image optimisation.
